Greetings Cluster G! It's only been a few months but I think most of us are already settling into our lives in the Real World. That is probably a minus for free time but a huge plus for liver health. I hope everyone had a great summer and are enjoying their newfound professions. In my case, I've had a busy summer, let's see. Well travel for one, Kelly and I spent a month in Europe and we stopped in five countries and probably 15 cities. Our favorite cities during the trip were Barcelona for its architecture, Santorini Greece for its sunrises, Lucca, Italy for its food and last but certainly not least, Brunate, Italy above lake como for its beautiful views and engagement-friendly surroundings haha. That's right, for most of you this probably isn't new info, but Kelly and I are officially engaged as of this June, and I'm happy to say our travel has not stopped there!
I am currently in Shanghai (the homes of my ancestors and tons of relatives on my dad's side) visiting my family and
kelly's family as well. So far so good, we had dinner with her fam, lunch with mine and a heated match of Catan with Kelly's fam (a very addictive board game which i invite/challenge anyone in the NYC area to play against me and kelly ;) ) which i managed to sneak by customs. I expect its popularity to grow virally from here and become a multi-billion dollar enterprise before my next visit. In any case, my stay has been great and ah! my update may overlap somewhat with another G-mate Beverly who has just found a job in Shanghai! Bev loves visitors so if you are going to be in the Asian hemisphere please drop by and say hi. Kelly and I are going to hang out with Bev while we are here too doin as the locals do.
On the job front, things are goin along slowly but surely. For the timebeing I am still working at my summer firm as a paid intern, but I am optimistic that the right full-time job is on the horizon. That said, if anyone has any leads in the mid-market PE space lemme know ;). So that's what I've been up to in a nutshell, I've also had a chance to start up with my playwriting workshops again which I try to go to every Tuesday. If I have a reading in the city at some pt I will definitely pass it along to the cluster =). With that, I'm going to leave you with two photos from Shanghai. One of the Chu clan of Shanghai (with newest additions Kelly and my cousins son Eric =) ), and one of the AWESOMEST DUMPLINGS EVARRRR!!!! This was shortly before I, like a total dumpling noob, bit into one too fast and literally shot a stream of hot pork juice up my nose and into my eye. Classssic tourist! Oh and one bonus pic of a local lady carrying her dog around like a fuzzy panting piece of luggage.

That's it for now, I'm looking forward to hearing back from all of you too! Hear from you soon, G's!
